Neo Telecoms’ OPEXMedia Chooses Active Circle

Providing hosted archiving solution

OPEXMedia, an entity of Neo Telecoms, France’s second largest IP
operator, has chosen Active Circle
to provide hosted archiving solutions, as part of its suite of network
infrastructure services that includes network, optical fiber, data center, and
cloud computing platforms.

The new solution offers users fast and secured media file transport, data
hosting, transcoding, SaaS-mode editing solutions, HPC computing/render farm,
and multiplatform adaptive streaming.

OPEXMedia’s
decision to deploy Active Circle’s archiving
solutions within its infrastructure is triggered by the demand for long-term
and high-volume storage of digital contents by its professional audiovisual
clients. Users can benefit from an on-demand tool that enables
them to unload their production systems and secures their content together with
network access.

"OPEXMedia’s archiving services are flexible
and address the customers who do not want to invest in infrastructure and are
looking for a hosted solution, available through the network and the customers
who rely on their own infrastructure and who want to implement a remote site to
duplicate their contents for disaster recovery purposes
," says
OPExMedia CEO Didier Soucheyre.

"Thanks to its hosted archiving offer,
OPEXMedia provides its customers with a huge storage capability without any
CAPEX investment and relating operating costs. OPEXMedia’s hosted archiving
services are complementary to our software offer and leverage the scalability
of our solutions,
" says Active Circle CEO Philippe Lerer.
