Becoming partner also in Austria
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on September 20, 2011 at 2:58 pmNextiraOne LLC got NetApp Gold Partner status in Austria, extending the companies relationship with NetApp across Europe.
NextiraOne was amongst the first to recognise the trend towards the Virtualised Dynamic Data Centres (VDDC). In order to help equip companies to prepare for the challenges of today’s working environment, NextiraOne continues to work towards strengthening its partnerships with manufacturers (Cisco, NetApp and VMware) in this technology sector. NextiraOne Austria’s achievement of Gold Partner Status with NetApp is the latest in this strategy and complements the company‚s Gold Certification status with Cisco, also in Austria and across Europe.
"When it comes to data centre know-how, NextiraOne has excelled both in the quality of its consultancy and in its competence in creating solutions. In terms of the authorisation process to achieve Gold Partner status, our joint customers have received advice of the highest standards not only in the areas of data storage and data management, but also in meeting their general infrastructure requirements," confirmed Ewald Glöckl, Director for Austria, Poland, Turkey and Eastern Europe (APLTREE) for NetApp.
This know-how is important in the VDDC environment. This solution enables the operation and management of all data centre business applications and processes over IP. It also allows all the requirements of unified communications and collaboration to be handled through the virtualised data centre.
NextiraOne’s implementation and support of such end-to-end solutions enables enterprises to accelerate their business processes, manage their data centres more effectively and prevent loss of efficiency. It also helps achieve significant cost reductions.
NextiraOne not only supports organisations in the implementation of their (virtualised) data centres but also provides a support service, working with leading equipment vendors.
"The close partnership between NextiraOne and NetApp is an important step for us," explains Dr. Margerete Schramböck, Vice President of NextiraOne in Germany & Austria. "It allows us to complement our already extensive portfolio of storage and data management expertise. This expertise will be used above all in the data centre environment and will help us to support organisations and make them more efficient and competitive. Gold partnership with NetApp is a reward for our efforts in building this area of expertise and at the same time provides an incentive for us to continue developing in the data centre field."
NextiraOne works with NetApp across Europe and is also Gold Partner in the United Kingdom and a Silver Partner in Hungary, Belgium & Luxemburg, France, Germany, Spain and Switzerland.
