Buffalo Reveals Windows-Powered NAS Range for SMBs

Buffalo Technology announced the TeraStation Pro Windows Storage Server (WSS).

The family of RAID enabled NAS is available in two, four and six bay models, as well as the 4 bay TeraStation Pro Rackmount, and Buffalo continue to populate and ship pre-configured in RAID-5.
 
Buffalo’s network storage solution family is optimised to deliver robust file server experience, and in addition to offering dependable, seamless domain integration, the TeraStation Pro WSS provides features such as centralised management, DFS replication and, on select models, data de-duplication (SIS) and Read-only Domain Controller (RoDC) support.
 
The TeraStation Pro Windows Storage Server family provides businesses with a scalable solution that is not only cost-effective, but easy to deploy and administer into Windows workgroup or domain environments. Equipped with the Intel Atom Dual-Core Processor, Buffalo has designed and developed a product that provides performance, enabling multiple users to work concurrently with negligible impact on performance.

The TeraStation Pro Duo WSS (WS-WV) is a two bay drive device which is supported by RAID levels: 0/1//JBOD and is available in 2TB and 4TB capacities.
 
The TeraStation Pro Quad WSS (WS-QVL/R5) is a four bay drive device which is supported by RAID levels: 0/1/5/JBOD and is available in 4TB and 8TB capacities.
 
The TeraStation Pro 6 WSS (WS-6VL/R5) is a six bay drive device which is supported by RAID levels: 0/1/5/JBOD and is available in 6TB and 12TB capacities.
 
The TeraStation Pro Rackmount WSS (WS-RVL/R5) is a four drive device which is supported by RAID levels: 0/1/5/JBOD and is available in 4TB and 8TB capacities.
