IceWEB Receives Contract for Two 6000/HR Unified Storage Systems

IceWEB, Inc. has a received an order from the Montgomery, Ohio Juvenile Center for two of the company’s recently announced IceWEB 6000/HR (High Reliability) Unified Storage Systems.

One will be deployed in the Juvenile Center’s Cloud Computing infrastructure; the other at the Center’s Disaster Recovery Site. In addition, the customer purchased three years of IceWEB support services for each 6000. This is IceWEB’s first digital footprint in Ohio.

IceWEB’s virtual machine integration and built-in disaster recovery facilities make the 6000 the solution for an organization seeking a virtualized storage solution with built-in reliability features such as hot-swap, dual-clustered controllers. IceWEB’s VM Manager provides a unified management console for controlling all storage-related aspects of a virtualized infrastructure. The IceWEB product line is VM Certified.

IceWEB’s VM Manager (IVSM) is a plug-in that seamlessly integrates into the IceWEB platform. It includes ZFS snapshot and automated replication services integration featuring Auto-Snap, Auto-Tier and Auto-Sync. In addition, IVSM includes Virtual Host Consolidation, Virtual Machine Cloning and Templating, and VMware VMotion support.
