Zycko Opens Office in Poland

Focusing on storage, networking and cloud backup solutions

Zycko Ltd announces the
opening of its first Polish office.

This marks a continuation of the
distributor’s expansion in Europe. The new
Polish team will be responsible for Zycko’s market share across the
region, with a technology focus on storage, networking and cloud backup
solutions.

Jozef Dusza heads the new team as managing director of
Zycko Polska. With over twelve years’
experience in the European IT industry, including a seven-year tenure as CEO of
 backup and storage specialist, Dusza will guide a team of ten staff at the Krakow-based company.

"After ten years with my previous company I was ready
for a fresh challenge.This is the perfect opportunity to build on my experience
in the storage and backup industry. I am looking forward to developing a
serious presence for Zycko in this part of Europe
",
comments Dusza. "The staff currently includes five account managers, two
pre-sales engineers and a marketing manager; an additional account manager will
be appointed next month."

"The new team consists of some of the best networking
and storage experts in the business
", he continues. "We will be in a
prime position to provide both pre- and post-sales support, delivering
value-added services to resellers across the region. The main focus will be
on  growing the networking, storage and
back-up sectors of the business
."

Nick Moglia, group managing director in the UK and joint
owner of Zycko after a recent management buyout, comments: "We are
delighted to name Jozef Dusza as MD of our Polish subsidiary. With over a
decade in the industry and previous experience with some of our own vendors, we
are confident he is the ideal person to lead our development in the region. We
are looking forward to delivering our extensive product catalogue and
value-added services through greater local presence in Eastern
Europe."
