Unitrends Delivers 31TB of Raw Storage at $61,996, Savings of $14,000

$1 more than Recovery-832 de-dupe appliance, until August 31

Unitrends, Inc. announced a most robust backup appliance, being offered at a savings of $14,000 for a limited time.

Effective immediately, Unitrends is selling its Recovery-833 backup, archiving and disaster recovery appliance, capable of 600TB byte-level deduplicated storage, for just $1 more than its Recovery-832 appliance.

"When we introduced the Recovery-832 in March, it quickly became the best-selling appliance we’ve ever offered," Mark Campbell, Chief Operating Officer, Unitrends said. "Because our Recovery-832 offers the best backup, archiving, and disaster recovery value on a per-terabyte basis in the industry, most companies would have been tempted to rest on their laurels. We’re not most companies. We’re committed to delivering to our customers the most advanced next generation solutions at the best price point in the industry, by far."

In addition to the R-833’s  competitive pricing, the appliance delivers unique offerings. Unitrends No Limits licensing means that customers are free to use the data protection appliances with no client- or storage-based licensing constraints.

The program is only for a limited time, ending on August 31, 2011. For any order received after the date, the highly competitive price reverts back to its original listed price.
