White will be responsible for BlueArc’s global channel program and will draw from more than a decade of enterprise sales experience to help support current and future partners.
"Chris brings deep storage industry knowledge and experience leading and developing strategic channel programs that deliver results across multiple routes to market," said Mike Gustafson, president and CEO of BlueArc. "BlueArc continues to invest in its channel program to provide partners with the education, training and tools they need to be successful, and I’m confident in Chris’ ability to effectively lead our channel program."
White comes to BlueArc from NetApp, Inc., where he was the senior director of channel sales. During his time at NetApp, he led a team covering the Western U.S. channels. Previously, White was the director of enterprise sales at Symantec Corporation and Region Manager / Channel Management at VERITAS Software, after stints at Virtual Growth and ADP.
He got a BA in Social Sciences at University of California, Irvine.
