Chris Stewart IT Director, BluPointe

BluPointe DRS founder and CEO Ron Roberts has
named Chris Stewart Information Technology Director for the company’s
Atlanta-based headquarters. Stewart is responsible for BluPointe’s internal and
external technology needs, and working with the company’s global cloud data
storage and backup technology advancements and solutions.
Before joining the BluPointe team, Stewart moved from his
native Chatsworth, Ontario
to London, Ontario where he founded II Designs DSL
Internet, specializing in business web development and virtual private server
hosting with various open source projects including Drupal, WordPress, Sugar
CRM and OSCommerce.
Prior to building II Designs, Stewart worked as an engineer
for Snap On Tools, Canada
calibrating and installing Ontario’s
Drive Clean program’s emissions equipment, and for Mirtech Security, where, as
a Pelco Certified Systems Technician (PCST) he was responsible for IT
infrastructure and video security in various correctional institutions. Stewart
also worked on the installation of a hybrid fiber wide area network closed
circuit television security system for the City of London.
Stewart earned a degree as a Computer Network Engineering
Technician from RCC College of Technology in Toronto, Ontario.
