Nerds On Site Integrates KineticD-Robobak

KineticD, known for its online backup and recovery services designed for SMBs, announced that Nerds On Site, Inc. is one of the first customers to integrate the new KineticD-ROBOBAK technology into their storage solution offering.

Nerds On Site, the technology services company that provides solutions to SMBs, will be able to leverage the merger of KineticD and ROBOBAK by accelerating cloud backups and recovery solutions to servers, networks and server side applications across distributed networks.

The ROBOBAK features that will expand Nerds On Site’s capabilities include at the source global:

• block level deduplication;
• local storage options for a Hybrid backup solution that allows clients to keep copies locally as well as in the cloud;
• agentless backup capabilities that allow for the management of all network backups from one console; and
• granular schedule-based policies.
