Free IDrive Online Backup App

Pro Softnet Corporation announced the availability of the IDrive online backup app, a free Android app that lets users ‘get in touch’ with their backed-up files anywhere they have 3G/4G or Wi-Fi access.

After downloading and installing the IDrive app from the Android Market, users can log into their IDrive account using their established credentials to view backed-up files, share backed-up files/folders with others by entering the recipient’s email address, check to ensure their last backup completed, even view account statistics.

All major Android OS releases from version 1.6 are supported with the IDrive online backup app, as are most of the currently available Android tablets. In addition to the new IDrive Android app, a mobile app for Apple iPhone/iPad devices is also available.

IDrive currently protects over 750,000 users with secure online backup for consumers and businesses. With the advent of faster Internet connections, more consumers and businesses are pushing their backups to the cloud as a way to safeguard memories, content, and critical information from catastrophic loss.

IDrive online backup plans start at 5GB for free, and larger plans for individuals, families, and businesses are available for Windows and Macintosh computers.
