Donna Williams VP WW Technical Support, FalconStor

FalconStor Software, Inc. has hired former Hewlett-Packard executive Donna Williams as vice president of worldwide technical support and Abbas Meghjee, formerly of Symantec, as vice president of North American sales operations.

Williams will play a leadership role in FalconStor’s initiative to deliver unwavering technical excellence, the highest quality product delivery and customer delight. Meghjee in his new position will focus on implementing efficient and cost-effective sales processes that enhance the productivity of FalconStor’s sales team and channel partners.

Prior to joining FalconStor, Williams was the director of software support delivery throughout the Americas for Hewlett-Packard. She was responsible for providing the foundation and premier support for Hewlett-Packard’s business technology optimization (BTO) software suite for the United States, Canada and Latin America. At HP, Williams managed a large software support organization with revenue of $600 million and gross margin results of 89 percent while maintaining customer satisfaction. As FalconStor’s VP of tech support, Williams intends to design, build and manage a profitable global technical support organization that delivers the quality customer service. Williams has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from La Salle University and a master’s degree from the University of Baltimore.

Meghjee has more than 12 years of IT sales and management experience, building sales teams and sales generation processes in the Americas and across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Most recently at Symantec, Meghjee was director of sales for inside sales organizations covering the United Kingdom and emerging markets. Prior to Symantec, Meghjee managed sales teams for Veritas. At FalconStor, Meghjee will oversee all FalconStor sales operations in North America. Meghjee has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado and a master’s degree from Bard College in New York.
