Dell: Fiscal 1Q12 Financial Results

Storage revenues declined 13% due to EMC sales.

Dell Corp.-owned storage technology, which includes Compellent, EqualLogic, PowerVault and DX Object Storage, grew 11% in the quarter ended April 29, 2011, offset by declines in EMC storage.

The overall storage business revenue declined 13% year-to-year and 16% sequentially, representing 3% of total sales.

Enterprise solutions and services revenue was up 16%, driven by a gain in servers of 19%, services of 16%, and storage of 7%.
