TerraBlock 5.0 From Facilis for Editors and Content Creators

Facilis Technology, Inc., brings editors and content creators greater performance and power with TerraBlock 5.0. This version delivers enhanced performance for OS X Shared File System clients, new scalability options, and features aimed at collaborative workflows.
 
A collaborative, cross platform SAN, TerraBlock 5.0 offers post-production workstations the following features:

• Complete Final Cut Pro project sharing
• Enhanced performance in Mac OS X Shared File System
• Pro Tools 9.0 file-level support
• 64bit Kernel support for Mac OS X
• 10Gbit Ethernet support for client workstations

TerraBlock 5.0 debuts with the ability to expand capacity through Facilis Technology’s new T8 SAS-attached storage system. This provides 14 additional terabytes of usable storage available through the Facilis Shared File System, allowing Multi-user Write access to all stations connected to the TerraBlock.
