This version delivers enhanced performance for OS X Shared File System clients, new scalability options, and features aimed at collaborative workflows.
A collaborative, cross platform SAN, TerraBlock 5.0 offers post-production workstations the following features:
- Complete Final Cut Pro project sharing
- Enhanced performance in Mac OS X Shared File System
- Pro Tools 9.0 file-level support
- 64bit Kernel support for Mac OS X
- 10Gbit Ethernet support for client workstations
TerraBlock 5.0 debuts with the ability to expand capacity through Facilis Technology’s new T8 SAS-attached storage system. This provides 14 additional terabytes of usable storage available through the Facilis Shared File System, allowing Multi-user Write access to all stations connected to the TerraBlock.
