3,000 Synerway Backup Appliances to Be Deployed by STIME

STIME is the IT branch of the Mousquetaires retail group. With more than 600 staff worldwide, STIME designs, constructs and deploys the group’s IT solutions.

Among the Mousquetaires Group brand names are the following supermarkets: Intermarché, Ecomarché, Bricomarché, Netto and Roady.

Synerway Appliances already protect the 42 logistics and transport sites for the ITMLAI subsidiary in France. Additional Appliances will now equip principal sales outlets.

The 3,000 Synerway Appliances will be deployed throughout France and other European countries from March 2011 to June 2012.

They will be delivered ready-to-use, 100% plug and play, thanks to Synerway’s flexibility which offers a factory master for the sales outlets’ backup strategy as defined by STIME.

This advantage, meaning that several hundred Appliances can be deployed per month with no specific local skills, are the two key reasons behind STIME selecting the Synerway solution:

• The reliability and quality of the Synerway Appliances, both in terms of hardware and software,
• Synerway’s capacity to develop specific features requested by STIME, requiring the software vendor to be proactive.
