New Capability for Raid Inc.’s Xanadu 200 Series

RAID Incorporated announced the intermix capabilities of the entire Xanadu 200 series.

Not only can customers intermix various drive types within a single Xanadu solution but now have the ability to intermix three distinct enclosure models together:

• Xanadu 260 – 4U 60-bay 3.5" & 2.5" drive model with the
• Xanadu 240 – 2U 24-bay 2.5" drive model and the
• Xanadu 230 – 2U 12-bay 3.5" drive.

"This combination reduces the need for multiple storage systems down to one which meets a range of workload requirements that has the capability to expand in various combinations up to 192 drives," stated Dr. Ercan Kamber, vice president of engineering at RAID Incorporated.
