American Utility Management Upgrades Data Security and Productivity

American Utility Management (AUM), energy services and utility management partner to the multifamily industry, announced upgrades to its data security and productivity through partnerships with UbiStor, Inc. for access to its SafeStor data backup services, and with OPEX Corporation‘s AS7200i Mail automation and digital scanning equipment.

Additionally, AUM has partnered with OPEX Corporation for AS7200i Document Capture Platform with Integrated Mail Extraction to increase efficiency within its Bill Processing Unit. This technology combines mail opening and extraction with image capture and classification. The in-line processing allows for printing an audit trail and sorting mail contents without a separate prep process. This allows for less paper handling, fewer labor intensive tasks, lower operational costs, and improved quality.
