American Utility Management Upgrades Data Security and Productivity
Through partnerships with UbiStor and Opex

Data is backed up to a high-security data center and then replicated to a second high-security data center. This gives our clients peace of mind knowing that their data is automatically backed up, and can be restored quickly. Not only does this data center give us infinite storage capacity, but we have flexibility and confidence for any data restoration needs."
Additionally, AUM has partnered with OPEX Corporation for AS7200i Document Capture Platform with Integrated Mail Extraction to increase efficiency within its Bill Processing Unit. This technology combines mail opening and extraction with image capture and classification. The in-line processing allows for printing an audit trail and sorting mail contents without a separate prep process. This allows for less paper handling, fewer labor intensive tasks, lower operational costs, and improved quality.
