As
chief executive, Darren will execute Nomadesk’s strategy to become a
leading provider of on-demand file sharing, synchronization and data
security solutions for the mobile or ‘nomadic’ professional. Much of his
focus will be on bolstering the company’s organization and growing the
business globally through strategic partnerships and indirect sales; as
such making Nomadesk a leading brand in the cloud computing space.
Former CEO and co-founder Filip Tack will serve as General Manager EMEA
and SVP of Product Development and Marketing. Filip remains an executive
director on the Nomadesk board of directors.

robust and secure enterprise-quality storage and file sharing service to
small and medium businesses. With Darren joining as CEO, we are adding a
seasoned and business savvy executive with a track record in building
growth companies. Darren has shown a strong leadership and consistent
revenue growth with several private technology firms," says Yves Michali, Chairman of the board.
Darren Trumeter, is an executive with over twenty years of successful
international business practice in C-level positions in public and
privately-held companies. He has a background in general management and
an expertise at igniting sales growth in technology companies, he has
driven performance at several companies as CEO, including Infoware, myDials, and iProfile. He served as Chief Operations Officer of Citect,
a public Australian software company, building sales successfully up to
its acquisition by Schneider Electric in 2006. Darren has executed
several M&A events creating exit opportunities for investors.
Darren is also a decorated military veteran previously serving the country as a US-military Black Hawk pilot.

Nomadesk, who already boasts partnerships with Belgian operators Telenet
and Hostbasket, US-based Novatel Wireless and Canada’s operator Bell,
recently closed a USD 7 million B-round. These funds are now being used
to accelerate the growth of its indirect business and internationalize
the team, especially in North America.
