Transcend Information, Inc. introduced the StoreJet 35T3, a 3.5" external hard drive featuring the SuperSpeed USB 3.0 interface. The black, sleek-looking unit delivers transfer rates of up to 130 MB/s, offering enhanced external storage performance.

As technology marches forward, large files generated by modern devices such as digital cameras and camcorders can quickly fill an internal hard drive and slow the computer down. Designed for users with high-capacity requirements, the StoreJet 35T3 not only offers a 2TB of storage space for large files, but also supports the next-generation USB 3.0 standard that boosts data transfer rates up to 130MB/s fast enough to transfer an entire DVD movie in 30 seconds.

The StoreJet 35T3 makes external storage more efficient with its One Touch auto-backup button, a feature normally found only on smaller 2.5" portable hard drives. The One Touch auto-backup technology helps users instantly backup and synchronize data with their computer, ensuring important files are updated to the latest version and stored in a secondary location.  

It meets the European Union’s eco-design requirements for Energy Related Products (ErP). It automatically goes into power-saving sleep mode after ten minutes of inactivity, allowing energy-savings of nearly 70%.
