The partner program is available for Direct Value Added Resellers (D-VARs) throughout North America. The program includes dedicated training tools, joint marketing programs and go-to-market resources designed to streamline DMV sales processes and enable deal closure for partners looking to offer data management virtualization that can co-exist in clients’ current infrastructure with simplicity and agility at a dramatically lower cost.
According to IDC, unstructured data is growing by 60 percent per year which is creating a need for vastly different storage economics and the cloud is expected to account for 14 percent of all IT spending by 2014. Rapid market adoption of server virtualization, backup to disk/deduplication, and commoditization of storage has opened up the opportunity to simplify data management and reduce the overall cost by up to 90 percent.

Focus Technology Solutions, a large New England Managed Service Provider has added the Actifio Data Management Virtualization software suite to its product portfolio to provide customers with next-generation data protection solutions. The company was so impressed with Actifio’s DMV capabilities that they purchased the business continuity solution for its own internal data management operations. The built-in deduplication will reduce the storage footprint and Focus will be able to further reduce the storage costs by leveraging the storage virtualization capability and deploying a secondary storage system for local and remote protection data.
