With the dual 80mm fans, the Max 5G can exhaust heat out of the storage enclosure to lower the internal temperature and thereby ensuring data integrity during file transfers between the external hard disk and your computer, as well effectively prolonging lifetime of your installed hard drive.
Besides it also sports blue LEDs that give the Max 5G its special looks. The two LEDs can be turned off by a switch on the back of the enclosure, light it as you like. Due to its slim size of 14.5×20.7×4.7 cm and 405g the Max 5G is convenient to carry along for people on the move.
In addition to its appearance, the Max 5G also implements USB 2.0 with up to 480Mbps and eSATA with up to 3Gbps.
It supports all 3.5 inch SATA I, II, 3.0 and 6G hard drives up to 2TB. In order to enhance the overall enclosure stability, the Max 5G comes with a device stand with twist-out functionality.
