Passing evaluation and testing process

This designation indicates that the AccuRAID AR316IR has passed an evaluation and testing process managed by VMware and is now listed on the VMware Partner Product Catalog, or Hardware Compatibility List.
Passing the VMware-specified testing helps ensure that AccuRAID AR316IR makes best use of VMware technology and is ready for deployment in customer environments.

The AccuRAID AR316IR 3U-16 Dual Quad GBE iSCSI RAID storage system is ideal for mission critical IT environment. Designed with high-availability in mind, the AR316IR is equipped with features such as Dual-Active RAID Controllers, dual hot-swappable power supplies and cooling fans to ensure a 27×7 operation. Utilizing enterprise iSCSI protocol to transfer data over the network in blocks provides a fast (Up to 900MB/s and 200K IOPS), reliable connectivity between the AR316IR storage unit and its host computer such as the VMware ESX 4.1. While the Trunking and LACP supported to provide aggregated network bandwidth, the CHAP authentication is also included to secure the privacy of the network connectivity. The native expansion capability on the AccuRAID AR316IR also provides cost-saving on future storage expansion. Customer can purchase up to 3 additional AS316IXR (3U-16 Dual Controller JBOD expansion unit) utilizing the same AR316IR head RAID controller unit.
