Storage giant EMC Corp. has cooled its interest in a deal for Isilon Systems Inc., according to people familiar with the matter. Just weeks ago, Isilon tapped Frank Quattrone’s Qatalyst Partners to shop the company, which makes data storage devices used in the media and entertainment industries. But Isilon has not attracted serious interest from any other player apart from EMC, the people familiar with the matter said. EMC’s interest was piqued, but the two sides have clashed on price, said people familiar with the matter.
