Egnyte, provider of cloud file server solutions, announced the availability of the Egnyte Office Local Cloud on the NETGEAR ReadyNAS line of business-class network storage platforms. This hybrid file server solution combines on-site local storage with cloud file services. Now, any organization can transparently share files in and out of the office while maintaining performance, reliability and control.

This joint solution preserves primary data on-site for performance while synchronizing with a cloud service. Data is available on both a local ReadyNAS and from the cloud, allowing users to access, share and collaborate from any location. The solution can be integrated into existing directory services like Microsoft’s Active Directory or LDAP to streamline user management.
