External HDD From Packard Bell Available in Europe

A new solution for personal storage for laptop users is now available from Packard Bell: PB (Pocket Ball) mobile hard drive GB 2.5". It allows users to add storage capacity instantly.

The portable external storage solutions have become the companion for PC users because of the quantity and size of the growing digital content like music, photos and video.

The new external storage solution PB GB Packard Bell Technology has PowerSave reducing energy consumption 30% by turning off the hard drive automatically (when not in use or when the computer is off). PowerSave thus increases the effective life of the disk. Utilizing SATA technology and USB 2.0, the rate of data transfer is fast.

With its lightweight design, the mobile storage solution PB GB allows notebook users to take their digital lives in their pocket. Its sleek black chassis deep, making it one of the finest mobile drives and lightest in the range Packard Bell (13.5 mm thick to just 150 g). The 2.5" hard disk can contain up to 750 GB of data, equivalent to 768,000 photos, over 192,000 songs or 920 videos. PB Go is compact and powered via USB, no need for cables. The external storage solution PB GB Packard Bell is now available from European distributors. On the French market, the PB GO will be available in 320GB, 500GB and 750GB, at suggested retail price of 64.90 euros, 74.90 euros and 109.90 euros respectively.
