SANBlaze Purchases Emtech LLC

To expand its embedded products business

SANBlaze Technology, Inc., provider of storage, networking and multifunction products for the embedded computing market, purchased Emtech LLC. Emtech’s professional sales organization, embedded products and integration business to be merged into SANBlaze, expanding the company’s partnerships, customer base, product line and integration capabilities.

Emtech’s Integration and Sales Representative business will operate as a division of SANBlaze. The division will maintain selling relationships with best in class manufacturers of complementary products, providing customers with multiple sourcing options that range from procurement of a single solution to meet a specific requirement to fully integrated, interoperable, multivendor solutions and related services.

Emtech’s existing products will be merged with those of SANBlaze to provide the widest selection of storage, networking and multifunction solutions in the ATCA and embedded computing marketplace today.

"This allows us to expand our sales force, product line and partnerships, providing our OEM, defense and telecom customers with more technical and economic options to deploy ATCA solutions. Continued interoperability testing and multifunction solutions are key to successful ATCA architectures, and the addition of Emtech adds to SANBlaze’s strength in these areas."

Jeff Hookailo, CEO of Emtech, added: "Combining our operations with SANBlaze provides us with the critical mass needed to fuel our growth. The existing SANBlaze product line and rapid development capabilities allow us to provide more function and value per ATCA deployment, saving customers time, money and interoperability and integration headaches."

The purchase became effective on July 7th, 2010
. The companies will work over the next two months to integrate operations and combine product lines.
