TPC-E Benchmark Between Violin, Microsoft and HP

Violin Memory, Inc. has achieved a Blade Server TPC-E benchmark in partnership with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and HP‘s latest ProLiant blade server offering. The TPC-E benchmark simulates the workload of a brokerage firm’s central database. This benchmark demands both low latencies and fast response times. It is utilized by vendors to demonstrate system solutions for realistic and representative workloads commonly addressed by large OLTP systems.
