Trend Micro Discontinuing Email Archiving Software

Jatheon Technologies, Inc. announced a strategic partnership with Trend Micro Inc. to migrate their customer base with email archiving needs over to Jatheon. Trend Micro recently stopped selling its email archiving software last January and now is selecting Jatheon Technologies as its migration path for all existing Trend Micro email archiving customers.

With the discontinuation of the Trend Micro Message Archiver (TMMA) product, Trend Micro recommend that TMMA customers transition to a Jatheon product. Trend Micro and Jatheon engineers are working together to ensure a smooth transition from TMMA to the Jatheon Plug n Comply appliances. Jatheon offers email archiving appliances that provide similar capabilities to TMMA, with infinite scalability, and they are simple to use, deploy, maintain and support. Jatheon’s family of email archiving appliances will be offered to TMMA customers at a special discounted rate for a limited time through Trend Micro resellers. As part of the upgrade process, Jatheon will import existing TMMA email into the Jatheon product at no charge, ensuring continuity and prevention of any data loss.

Certain TMMA customers have already transitioned to the Jatheon Plug n Comply email archiving solution. "The transition from Trend Micro’s TMMA to Jatheon was very easy," said Michael Wolkov from Robert E Lamb Inc. "Set-up was quick and easy and Jatheon’s support team had me up and running in 30 minutes. They imported all our existing email from the Trend Micro solution to the Jatheon device off hours. We are extremely happy with the Jatheon product’s features and performance and would recommend it to other TMMA customers looking for a replacement solution."
