To increase the use of portable storage devices within a secure and productive home environment, CoSoSys announces the availability of the free My Endpoint Protector (My EPP) device control and data loss prevention cloud service for home users.

My EPP’s purpose is to help home users prevent data theft, identity theft and other fraud related risks on up to three of their home computers.

With the increase in both usage and capacity of lifestyle and portable storage devices such as USB sticks, external hard drives, digital cameras, memory cards, smart phones and MP3 players, which are helpful, but also easy to use and, generally, a security threat, people transfer large amounts of personal data to and from their home computers on an almost daily basis.
