Symform Competitive Upgrade Program

Enables MSPs to move their clients from expansive online storage to its Cooperative Storage Cloud.

Symform, Inc. announced the Symform Competitive Upgrade Program. The program will enable MSPs to move their clients from online storage services charging oppressive per GB prices to the Symform Cooperative Storage Cloud. Symform will reward MSPs by providing their first six months of service for free.

To take advantage of the program,
MSPs are able to move their clients
from the following services:

  • Mozy
  • Carbonite
  • Acronis
  • eFolder
  • Intronis
  • Zenith Infotech
  • Iron Mountain
  • Ahsay
  • Datto, and others

The people have spoken and the era of ridiculous per GB pricing for online storage is over,” said Kevin Brown, VP Sales and Marketing of Symform. “Small businesses have a limited budget for IT services and per GB pricing is equivalent to a tax. Symform is 10 times cheaper and 10 times faster than any traditional online storage service and our 1,000+ community of reseller Partners are adopting our technology faster than we ever believed. Since we learned that many MSPs are stuck in multi-month contracts with competitors, we thought we’d make it easy for them to upgrade to Symform immediately. The response has been overwhelming.”

The Symform Cooperative Storage Cloud enables small businesses to implement a backup and disaster recovery solution that is more secure, ten times cheaper, and ten times faster than traditional online backup services. The company was founded on the realization that millions of small businesses have computers with an excess of inexpensive storage capacity, power running 24×7, and unlimited Internet bandwidth – especially nights and weekends. The Symform team has developed software that aggregates this relatively unreliable and un-trusted capacity over the Internet and transforms it into a secure and reliable global storage system. The heart of Symform’s software is a proprietary technology called RAID-96.
