Developed specifically for consumer and SOHO (Small Office, Home Office) users, NetSmart incorporates all of the features of Rebit’s SaveMe software into a solution that automatically and continuously backs up laptops and PCs to NAS, even as users come and go from the network  Easy to use, there are no buttons, no schedules, and no configurations. In the event of a catastrophe, users can easily and quickly recover individual files, entire folders, or restore the complete system to a point in time.

Our SOHO customers have been requesting NAS backup with all of the qualities of Rebit’s DAS SaveMe software, which backs up to external USB drives,” commented Charlene Murphy, executive vice president of sales and marketing, Rebit, Inc. “We are pleased that consumers finally have a software choice that provides fully automatic and complete NAS backup and recovery yet is incredibly easy to use.

William H. Hersh, Jr., server solutions specialist for D&H Distributing Company, Inc., had the opportunity to use NetSmart over the past few weeks. D&H will be among Rebit’s distribution partners offering NetSmart when it is released to the Channel next month.

"I find the new NetSmart to be robust enough to satisfy most SOHO users, as well as simple enough to enable any home user to keep their data intact,” said Mr. Hersh. “I believe it adds a great new dimension to Rebit’s product portfolio."

NetSmart software can be immediately downloaded or CDs can be purchased. NetSmart will be available through Rebit’s channel partners in 30 days.
