… QLogic Gains Additional Market Share in FC Adapters in 1Q10

strengthen its number one position in storage area network (SAN) Fibre
Channel adapters and take significant market share from its nearest
competitor, according to new data published by the Dell’Oro Group
in its Q1 2010 SAN Report.
With 55.2 percent Fibre Channel host bus adapter (HBA) market share in
revenue for calendar Q1 2010, QLogic increased its market share by 2.1
percentage points over the previous quarter and led its nearest
competitor by 19.1 percentage points. QLogic also maintained its number
one position in every HBA category including standard, mezzanine, 4Gb
and 8Gb adapters.
