SolarWinds, Inc., provider of IT management software to more than 93,000 customers worldwide, announced the availability of its 15th free tool, SolarWinds SAN Monitor. The latest addition to the company’s free tool line-up offers IT professionals real-time, critical storage performance metrics from a desktop dashboard.

SAN Monitor provides the visibility to help prevent application and server performance issues by identifying performance bottlenecks with disk I/O and latency. With SAN Monitor, IT professionals can monitor storage array performance quickly and easily and drill down into Logical Unit Number (LUN) inventory details using a slick desktop dashboard and track storage asset information.
