Winchester Systems FlashDisk RAID disk arrays offer Fibre Channel, SAS and SATA tiered storage for all popular servers and operating systems and 19 specific models are VMware ready. The new FlashDisk VX-3400 offers on-board storage services including storage virtualization, snapshots, mirroring and volume copy at very competitive price points.
"Winchester Systems has always specialized in taking excellent care of small to medium enterprises and departmental customers in major organizations who expect the responsive service provided by major storage vendors but who are too small to command their attention," explained Mr. Joel Leider, the company’s chief executive officer. "That we have achieved a major milestone of 15,000 storage systems shipped demonstrates that the customers value our products and our services for this important, yet often underserviced, market segment." He added: "Customers enjoy our attentive and very personal service, technical expertise and problem solving capabilities."
Mr. Jerry Namery, chief technology officer, elaborated: "Our products have always had a significant performance advantage that customers love. As the FlashDisk name suggests, high performance has always been a design goal but IT managers truly enjoy our ‘SAN-In-A-Box’ capabilities, ‘High Speed RAID 6’ and now our new Storage Services. Customers who look for something extra for their money seek out our unique performance and money saving features."
Winchester Systems is now offering its 10th generation of FlashDisk RAID disk arrays. "Winchester Systems is proud to achieve this broad market adoption of our FlashDisk ASIC-based technology. FlashDisk has a field-proven track record of dependability and has saved our customers millions of dollars versus alternatives from large vendors," added Mr. Namery. "We are delighted to be able to deliver these results to customers year after year and appreciate that our customers continue to support Winchester Systems."
Winchester Systems products are designed to provide the ‘best overall value’ by delivering high performance, high reliability, self-serviceability and extensive functionality – at affordable prices. Mr. Leider stated confidently: "The broad acceptance and long track record of FlashDisk make it easy for new customers to choose Winchester Systems to save money now when IT managers need to do more with less."
