1TB USB Portable HDD Now Offered by CMS Products

CMS Products, Inc. has released its ABS 2.5-inch portable hard drive solution with the capacity of one terabyte and powered by the USB bus. The 1TB ABS features the company’s flagship software product, BounceBack Ultimate ‘Instant PC Recovery.’

The BounceBack family of backup and ‘Instant PC Recovery’ products provide computer users the ability to restart a crashed or failed Windows computer directly from an external USB or eSATA storage device. Upon backing up a computer to an external USB hard drive using the pre-loaded BounceBack Ultimate software, the entire system drive is cloned and maintained on the USB drive. This exact copy includes the operating system, registry, applications, data, personal settings – everything users need to instantly restart their system and get back to work with no data loss and no down time.

The 1TB ABS solution is a streamlined disk enclosure featuring a 1TB hard drive complete with shock-mounting weighing in at only seven ounces. And because the 1TB ABS is powered via the USB bus, there is no need to carry an external power supply.  Equipped with BounceBack Ultimate disaster recovery software, the 1TB ABS is the ultimate, easy-to-use solution for freedom from concern about data loss due to hard drive failure.
