Promise Introducing 32TB VTrak RAID

PROMISE Technology, Inc. will be introducing and showcasing the 32TB VTrak at 2010 NAB at the Las Vegas Convention Center on April 12 – 15, 2010.

The 32TB VTrak offers users a high-performance RAID storage solution. Aggressively priced at only 56 cents/GB when combined with the PROMISE JBOD, the 32TB VTrak will appeal to post production, broadcast and digital media professionals working within the Mac OS X, Xsan, Xsan2 and Final Cut environments who want high-availability RAID storage solutions at reasonable prices.

During 2010 NAB, PROMISE will showcase video case studies, which will highlight PROMISE technology in real-world environments.

PROMISE booth highlights will feature:

• 2G Post Production, Still ‘N Motion and Tekserve video testimonials highlighting the management of dynamic content to showcase PROMISE products in a variety of broadcast applications;
• PROMISE SmartStor DS4600 is the ideal for use with all Mac OS X platforms. One of the first direct attached storage and digital media servers with support for the Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) UPLOAD feature, PROMISE SmartStor is ideal for the consumer and SOHO markets.

Additionally, PROMISE technology will be featured in the Building4Media – Primestream booth, where PROMISE VTrak will be demonstrated with Apple Xsan and Building4Media software.
