Peza okays P1.32-b Nidec project in Laguna zone
The Philippine Economic Zone Authority has approved the new P1.32-billion electronics project of Nidec Precision Philippines Corp., a unit of Nidec Corp. of Japan. Nidec Precision, according to a report of Peza director-general Lilia de Lima to Trade Secretary Jesli Lapus, will put up a factory in Laguna Technopark Inc. that will manufacture fluid dynamic bearing parts for vertical magnetizing technology.
