KeepITsafe.ie Acquires Online Backup Division of Rock Solid
To add €250,000 in annual revenue

Under the terms of the agreement keepITsafe will take over all online backup clients and move them to the keepITsafe’s, ISO certified platform. The acquisition will see keepITsafe gain an additional €250,000 in annual revenue and employ a further three staff members.
keepITsafe, which has bucked the recessionary trends and is experiencing almost continuous growth, despite the doom and gloom pervading the Irish economy. keepITsafe’s growth has been down to two significant factors: organic growth, which has come about as a result of its effective business offering; and growth through acquisition, thereby demonstrating the confidence and commitment of keepITsafe to the Irish market.
Through this particular deal the keepITsafe team will expand with 3 new staff appointments over the coming months. “Even in tougher times there will always be a need for companies which can save other companies money in the service that they offer. We are fortunate enough to be in that position as our service eliminates the costs associated with tape backup and also reduces time spent on laborious and error prone backup tasks," stated Jonathan Crowe, Technical Director, keepITsafe.
As companies delve deeper into cost savings keepITsafe’s offering has been at the forefront as an alternative offering for data backup solutions. While it’s unique approach has led to quantifiable growth throughout Ireland, it has accelerated that growth through strategic acquisition. “We are considering our next moves at this point. Our business is stable and global opportunities have come to the forefront in recent months. The one thing we have learnt in business over the last number of years is to have a strategic plan in place and get the buy in from the team”, continued Jonathan.
Irish online backup provider keepITsafe and have more than 1,500 clients and 150 partners. The company was formed in 2003 to eliminate the headache and burden of backup for their customers.
