i365 launched the EVault Cloud-Connected Services Platform in January 2010 so Independent Software Vendors (ISV) can securely and efficiently send data to the Cloud and begin offering Cloud-Connected services. The comprehensive platform includes Cloud APIs, enterprise-class Cloud storage, an edge-to-Cloud service connector to secure and accelerate the data transfer process, and Software as a Service (SaaS) business and support systems that ISVs can use to quickly go to market with a SaaS.
ZL Unified Archive is a seamless archiving solution that consolidates and manages an organization’s digital information, including email and files, while delivering solutions for e-Discovery, regulatory compliance, records management and storage optimization. ZL’s leading search capabilities make information easily accessible and discoverable to end-users, compliance officers and legal professionals. With ZL UA 7.0, organizations can solve the headache posed by the volume and variety of unstructured electronic content.
"The prospect of leveraging the Cloud for electronic content archiving and e-discovery is a compelling option for organizations of all sizes. Customers stand to benefit from reduced administrative and storage costs, while minimizing the number of vendors they have to interact with," said Kon Leong, CEO of ZL Technologies. "This partnership allows us to offer key ZL capabilities like enterprise-wide search, advanced compliance and supervision, auto-classification, retention management, and end-to-end e-discovery as Cloud-Connected services, delivered on i365’s comprehensive platform."
ZL chose to partner with i365 because of the company’s secure infrastructure and expertise in delivering Cloud-based backup and recovery services since 1997. i365 also provides ZL with the services, business systems and support structure needed to offer Cloud-services on a subscription basis.
"Our partnership with ZL Technologies demonstrates our Cloud-Connected storage vision in action. We are giving our partners the tools to overcome obstacles associated with getting data to and from the Cloud as well as the support structure necessary to begin selling services," said George Hoenig, vice president, product operations, i365. "Using the i365 Cloud, ZL will provide their customers with world class e-discovery and archiving software delivered as a hybrid on-premise/Cloud solution, supported by the knowledge and peace-of-mind their customers’ data is being stored and accessed securely and remotely."
