Blancco Adds Three Channel Partners in Eastern Europe

Blancco Oy Ltd, in data erasure and end-of-lifecycle solutions, announced a hat trick in terms of their expansion into Eastern Europe, with three new channel partners, with a representative for each country of Slovenia, Poland and Romania.

Blancco have selected three partners to support the sales of data erasure and IT asset management solutions with Miška d.o.o. in Slovenia, AutoID in Poland and Crescendo International in Romania.

Blancco has already earned credibility and customers in the region, and for some time held a certification as the only data erasure software certified by the Polish authorities. As of the 3rd November 2009 the Czech Republic’s National Security Authority is also recommending Blancco  after conducting an evaluation of Blancco products and setting the conditions for their usage in the area of national classified information.

Constantin Buda, Blancco’s sales manager for Eastern Europe, a Romanian citizen, joined Blancco in 2009 and in addition to consulting directly with customers in the region was available at the European Brokers Meeting in Praque Czech Republic, on the 12th and 13th November.

With so much focus on the global economy right now Blancco have identified some new regional growth opportunities. According to IDC‚s September 2009 markets alert the Polish security software market reached a value of $66.28 million, the Romanian IT market grew 6.0% year on year in 2008 to $2.68 billion and the Slovenia IT market reached $1,038.09 million, up 4.1%.
