NovaStor Data Backup SaaS Solution

Data protection specialist NovaStor has launched the first SaaS (Software as a Service) software package combining local and online data backup. With NovaBACKUP xSP, service providers now have a way to offer their clients a powerful alternative to costly local data backup solutions.

Online backup alone is not sufficient
Online data backup has limitations due to restricted availability of bandwidths for internet data transfer. Previously available SaaS products that only offered online backup services therefore weren’t able to function as a company’s only data protection solution. By combining local data backup with online backup, NovaBACKUP xSP is the first SaaS application to overcome this constraint. Service providers can now satisfy their clients’ complete data availability needs with one single IT service. NovaBACKUP xSP allows them to replace costly backup infrastructure with backup as a service for a low monthly fee.

One user interface for complete data protection
Services based on NovaBACKUP xSP include local data backup and restore. Users can also create an image locally to protect their data in case of system failure. In addition, NovaBACKUP xSP offers integrated virus protection, open file backup as well as small file size due to FastBIT technology and AES encryption for secure online data transfer. NovaBACKUP xSP is the only SaaS software that provides this complete range of functions. Service providers can offer complete data availability with one single user interface and greatly reduce the time and resources needed to provide and manage backup infrastructure.
