SOS Online Backup Opens Office in Torrance, CA
And appoints David Devereux as head of sales in North America.

The office, located at 19750 S. Vermont Ave, Suite 150 in Torrance, California, will act as the North American west coast sales headquarters. The company also has facilities in Texas (Austin and Houston), Australia (Melbourne, Brisbane), India and Ukraine, and plans to open an additional sales office in New York later this year. SOS Online Backup has also announced the appointment of David Devereux, Head of Sales in North America.
Devereux, who will be based in Los Angeles, brings to SOS Online Backup close to 20 years of technology-related sales & marketing leadership experience. David has served in leadership roles with various SaaS (software-as-a-service) companies. Most recently, Devereux served as the West Regional Director for ExactTarget, a provider of on-demand email marketing solutions. David earned his MBA from Loyola Marymount University, and a BA from UCLA.
"David is a true veteran in the online software market, bringing a significant amount of leadership and technology sales management experience in the North American market to SOS. SOS Online Backup saw a rapid expansion in the sales and integration of its online and local data backup solution during the past year. The company has experienced a four-fold increase in global sales and expanded distribution through more than 300 resellers.
