LTech Debuts Backup Tool for Google Docs New App
It improves backup administration and management of Google Docs.

A free demo version is available for single users with an administrative license for enterprise use on an entire domain. The application can be downloaded now at Google Docs Backup.

Google Docs is a, Web-based word processor, spreadsheet, presentation and forms application suite allowing users to create and edit documents online while collaborating in real-time with other users. Documents, spreadsheets and presentations can be created within the application itself, imported through the web interface or sent via email. They can be saved to the Google servers or to the user’s computer in a variety of formats. Open documents are automatically saved to prevent data loss, and a revision history is automatically kept.

LTech Google Docs Backup allows Google Apps users to download documents, spreadsheets and presentations into folders in a local directory or other locally attached storage. This is especially useful for archiving and providing administrators with access to content for compliance requirements or when local network connectivity is unavailable. Keeping the Google Docs folder structure intact, IT administrators can backup a single user or an entire Google Apps domain and export documents in multiple formats, including all standard Microsoft Office products.
