The company saw their turnover increase from €600,000 in 2007 to €800,000 in 2008 and are excited to release they will exceed their targeted turnover in 2009.
By offering a fully managed, fully monitored online backup solution to businesses the company has carved out a niche market through strategic planning and sales and marketing expertise. keepITsafe now list over 1,400 clients on their database and 120 partners.
All renewal customers stayed static for the company which was extremely positive in the face of a global recession. “Many of our partners and customers have downsized but looked at their online backup strategy as a cost they could not afford to cut,” stated Jonathan Crowe, Technical Director, keepITsafe. Media coverage in relation to stolen and lost USB sticks along with greater awareness of the devastating effects of data loss has been a big positive for keepITsafe’s business.
New business was also healthy in the first half of the year with a strategic focus on increasing the number of IT partners on their database. “By launching a nationwide partner programme it allowed us access to IT partners not previously on our radar. This was done through targeted email marketing and telesales campaigns in conjunction with an annual public relations strategy,” continued Jonathan.
keepITsafe took sponsorship of this year’s inaugural ICS Data Protection Conference, which will now become an integral part of their annual marketing efforts and were also shortlisted for two awards in this year’s ICT Excellence Awards. The company also recruited a technical manager and will continue recruiting towards the end of the year.
