MaxTronic, International Co., Ltd unveiled Green Storage TS-4801R with Arena VTL leverages industry-leading Open Storage Application Platform (OSAP) and integrates VTL applications into the Redundant RAID system to simulate tape libraries. The Arena VTL is a set of integrated VTL, a standalone unit that integrates VTL application and storage space while enabling simple set-up processes, reducing VTL set-up costs.
    
Green Storage TS-4801R is the small form factor storage for 2.5" drives.

Arena VTL comes with the following features:

• High Integration Capability: Arena VTL can simulate most tape libraries and tapes and enable enterprises to seamlessly integrate Arena VTL to any existing backup environment without modifying original tape backup applications.
• Reduce Backup Window: Arena VTL can simultaneously simulate tape libraries and tapes mostly used in enterprises. It is possible to backup and transfer huge amount of data from servers to a single Arena VTL device. This effectively reduces backup time.
• Enhance Data Recovery Efficiency: Arena VTL is a storage device made up of hard drives, enabling high-speed data access. This significantly enhances data recovery efficiency.
• Highly-Reliable Redundant System: The Arena VTL system is equipped with dual redundant controllers and power supplies, plus RAID 5 data protection and hot-plug capability, thus elevating service reliability.
• High Performance Fiber Throughput: Dual Port 4GB Fiber Channel backup/recovery speed of up to 1500MB/sec, are able to connect to a backup server or integrate with FC SAN backup environment directly.
• Data De-duplication: The Arena VTL built in data de-duplication function; via special algorithms, written data are analyzed and compared, and duplicate data are deleted, achieving maximum storage space.
• D2D2T Backup Structure: Arena VTL leverages the backup management features of backup software, transfer backup data from Arena VTL to physical tape drives and enable the D2D2T (Disk to Disk to Tape) backup structure.
