Dot Hill Extends Warranty of SANnet II

Dot Hill Systems Corp. introduced an extended warranty program covering Dot Hill’s line of SANnet II RAID arrays.
 
Under the extended warranty program, customers worldwide who purchased the popular SANnet II products from Dot Hill, or from authorized OEMs and resellers, may contract with Dot Hill for warranty coverage into the future.
 
“Given the present economy, many businesses and organizations are not in a position to undertake major upgrades to storage and IT investments,” said Andy Mills, Dot Hill’s vice president of marketing. “The Dot Hill SANnet II extended warranty program addresses these concerns through a ‘bumper-to-bumper’ warranty program that extends the investments customers have made in our highly durable SANnet II technology.”

Extending the Life of SANnet II Storage Systems
For a single annual fee, which can be renewed each year for up to five years, the Dot Hill SANnet II extended warranty program offers comprehensive hardware and software support. The program assists customers in controlling costs and keeping SANnet storage systems in top working order – through phone support, and updates to firmware and software, as well as advanced deployment of replacement hardware and field replaceable units. Battery replacement is also included upon automatic notification that battery service life is ending.
