Technology Europe Ltd, a subsidiary of Kingston Technology Company,
Inc., is strengthening
its Partner Program with the launch of a new interactive partner
website and new online Kingston Academy Flash training modules.
Reinforcing its channel proposition, to ensure that all partners are
fully integrated into Kingston’s business, the new interactive tools
have been designed to support the partners’ growing business demands in
Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Based on partner feedback, the
revamped website enables partners to have one central portal in which
they can interact and engage with Kingston representatives, and also
gain access to all crucial materials that will benefit their sales and
marketing. To take advantage of the specially designed tools and the
Kingston Academy training, distributors and resellers need to sign up
to the Kingston Partner Program.
“Kingston’s business growth and success in EMEA, also
means the number of partners we deal with is always increasing,” said
Gill Taylor, European Channel Marketing Manager of Kingston Technology
Europe. “The aim of the new website is to provide an interactive portal
for all our partners. As we are 100% channel focused, we aim to work
with our partners as though they are an extension of our business. We
feel that the evolution of the partner website will ensure increased
integration with our business and more interaction with our trusted and
valued partners.”
The Kingston Academy is an e-training tool designed to
provide Kingston partners with professional training on memory
technology, equipping them with the skills and accreditation that are
key to successful sales advice and customer support. Since its launch
in January 2008, more than 5,500 partners have taken part of the
Kingston DRAM Academy training. The Kingston Academy offers six
different modules for DRAM memory and three modules for Flash memory,
each covering a different area of the respective technology.
"It is great to know that as a Kingston partner, we have
access to the right people, resources, training and support needed to
compete effectively and win against other competitors," says Andrew
Henderson, Owner and Managing Director, Simms International. “The new
website provides us with even more access to Kingston so we act as one
business which increases the ease at which we do business.”
“With the new website we can be more self sufficient.
The interactive portal has all the sales and marketing tools, which
facilitates much quicker and easier access to what we need in order to
do business”, said David Ridgway, Sales Director, Softcat.
