Clunk Click Renamed Risc Group IT Solutions

With the launch of managed service to include data backup, hosted exchange, hosted security services and SaaS

Clunk Click have moved into the second stage of their integration with RISC GROUP. Clunk Click which has built a reputation for data storage solutions over the last decade was acquired by RISC GROUP, an European IT Managed Services in June last year. RISC GROUP has 35 offices throughout Europe, 6 data centres including 2 in UK, 1,200 servers hosted to outsourced application, 4,500 servers remotely saved, 250 000 business computers secured and in ‘08 the organisation restored 30.5TB of data.

This agreement allows Clunk Click to offer RISC GROUP comprehensive portfolio of IT Managed Services in the UK. These services include Hosted Exchange Application Hosting, Co Location, SaaS, Hosted Security Services and IBM Tivoli Storage Solutions.

In the UK, RISC IT Solutions also sells storage infrastructure solutions to organisations such as NHS Trusts, universities and local government as well as larger SMEs and Corporates. Their storage partners include, Riverbed, EMC, CommVault, Sun Microsystems, ExaGrid amongst others and they are a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner.

Clunk Click partner division has also had a change of name now known as RISC GROUP Business Partners the team will begin launching the new IT Managed Services through their reseller channel. There are plans to also offer VOIP and networking. The last few months have seen the internal teams working together to ensure that processes were aligned for these services to have the levels of resources necessary for success.

The company which has 1,600 channel partners throughout Europe is keen to build their reseller numbers in the UK by offering the highest ‘value add’ support package currently available. These include proven sales technique training; high quality marketing support; dedicated account managers and a 24 hour UK based technical support line. All of which are proven to grow partners’ revenues.
