Double-Take Launches Service Provider Licensing Agreement Program
To allow MSPs to deliver subscription-based workload availability and backup solutions
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on April 24, 2009 at 3:43 pmDouble-Take Software has created a new service provider licensing agreement (SPLA) program that will allow managed service providers (MSPs) to deliver subscription-based workload availability and backup solutions based on Double-Take Software’s leading workload optimization software suite. The program creates a scalable model that will benefit both partners and customers by helping MSPs better deliver subscription-based workload optimization solutions and enables customers to move, protect, recover and flexibly run workloads in both physical and virtual environments.
Double-Take Software developed this new licensing program in response to customer feedback and requests for flexibility within the software licensing model. The program provides a new market segment with access to Double-Take Software’s Double-Take and Livewire products. Not only will MSPs now have an easy and efficient way to offer workload optimization solutions, but this licensing program will also help them create new revenue streams that leverage their existing infrastructure and know-how.
“Double-Take Software’s commitment to our channel partners and customers was a clear driver of the new SPLA program. The program enables our partners to offer their customers licensing packages on a monthly basis,” said Dan Jones, vice president of sales and marketing at Double-Take Software. “The program also allows us to expand our presence in the market by providing end users additional options to easily access and deploy Double-Take Software solutions.”
A training service is also available for partners who sign up to be part of Double-Take Software’s SPLA program. This includes two days of onsite training, ten e-learning vouchers and one remote configuration session.
