Tandberg ASP Status For Willow Starcom
The first in the UK
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on April 16, 2009 at 3:51 pmWillow Starcom, part of Access Intelligence plc and provider of networking and storage solutions based in Lancashire, has become the first Company in the UK to have been awarded Automation Service Partner status, (the highest level of partner accreditation), by leading data backup solutions manufacturer, Tandberg Data.
“Gaining ASP status is not only an endorsement of our satisfied Tandberg Data customer base but it is also provides us with the launch platform to service Tandberg Data’s many other customers from our bases throughout the UK,” noted Mark Berry, Managing Director, Willow Starcom. “To reach this status we have embarked on, and demonstrated, a high level of technical training for our engineers and also our sales staff. We can now provide a range of Service Level Agreements up to including 24 hour cover with a 2 hour response and a 2 hour guaranteed fix time on Tandberg Data installations.”
Inclusion within the Tandberg Data Automation Service Partner category is highly regarded and fiercely competitive as it offers service opportunities and demonstrates ongoing commitment between the two companies.
The accreditation serves as a further recognition in what is proving to be a successful relationship spanning across 10 years. Further independent endorsement came in December 2008, when the combination of Willow Starcom’s advice and service with Tandberg Data’s reliable and innovative product line, secured the SNS Magazine’s SME Project of the Year through the installation at Cardinal Newman College, Preston.
