The 18 Winners of Brocade Partner Awards Program

Brocade Communications Systems, Inc. announced the winners of its third annual Partner Awards Program. The 18 award recipients were recognized for their exceptional performance in delivering Brocade-based solutions and services in 2008. The winners were announced at the third annual Brocade Partner Summit held April 5 to 8 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“Our channel partners are a strategic part of Brocade’s business, and we listen and work with them to create a program that best meet our mutual needs,” said Barbara Spicek, vice president of Global Channel Sales for Brocade. “In 2008, we saw great channel momentum for Brocade and its channel partners, and it is our pleasure to reward and recognize top performers at our annual partner conference because it is an event designed to inform, motivate, and reward them.”

The third annual Brocade Partner Summit attracted 150 worldwide distributors and Value-Added Resellers (VARs) to discuss best practices, share selling solutions, participate in one-on-one meetings with Brocade executives, and network with peers. Summit attendees chose among three unique educational tracks for executives, engineers, and sales/marketing professionals. In addition, 50 storage architects participated in training and received their Brocade Certified SAN Manager (BCSM) certifications.
